You can track your progress by comparing it against unit requirements and at every stage of your learning and study. You can also get support from your iTAFE mentor and advisor.

Study Guide

There are many ways that you might choose to make your way through the unit. The diagram and suggested sessions (below) will help to plan your learning through the Manage Conflict unit. The sessions outlined below are a suggestion only - you may have another way that you prefer to study.

Session 1 - 29th May 2014 at 1.00pm - ALL tiles

This includes:

1. Resolve different workplace conflicts using a range of conflict resolution and communication techniques.
2. Demonstrate knowledge of commonly occurring conflict situations in the workplace and the stages of conflict.

A few points to think about for your blog:

Discuss how you have identified conflict in the workplace. Provide examples.
 

What conflict resolution techniques and communication skills are effective when managing conflict and developing solutions.

Why is it important to evaluate and reflect on the conflict situation and effectiveness of the solution?
